  1. Pea Soup During a Dark Winter 5 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Dec 2020

Lockdowns a comin' they say. Dark times ahead. What better way to fight the coldness of quarantine and solitary confinement than a hot bowl of Andersen's split pea soup. Mighty tasty. I especially love the bacon flavored version. Just the right taste of savory. Yum! Lifts the spirits! I buy a case of regular and a case of bacon each time. I toss it into the back of the closet with the other canned goods, still wrapped for shipping. Food at home... That's the ticket.

We came across Pea Soup Andersen's on a vacation back in 1996.... the rest is history. We have stopped by ever since, whenever on the west coast traveling and have been ordering the soup ever since.
    So delicious!
    Thank You!

  3. Glad I can direct-order split-pea soup direct from Andersen's at an affordable price 5 Star Review

I love making my mom's split pea with ham soup recipe, but being just a one-person household now makes doing so real overkill. Luckily, Andersen's canned split pea soup really is close enough to mom's to be a good substitute, with a lot less effort, time, expense and waste. I do prefer Andersen's to other brands on the market, but unfortunately, my grocery chain merged with another and they no longer carry it, so although it may take me a couple of years to consume all of it, that's okay with me. At least it's available, and that's what matters. Thanks for the quick shipment!

I grew up eating Anderson's Split Pea Soup. We would stop by the restaurant while to traveling to San Fran to see relatives. I love your Pea Soup. I now live in New Mexico and I get to still eat it!!! It's the best pea soup I've ever had. I love it. It's simply the best.

Our son must be on a liquid diet. The soups are not available where he lives, so we are so happy to find it online. He absolutely loves Andersen's soups!

On a recent trip, we stopped into your restaurant for dinner. For a souvenir, I bought my dad 3 cans of your pea soup with bacon. Within a day of eating it, he had me ordering 2 cases!!! He loves it!

  9. Finally - creamy pea soup 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Feb 2017

I love pea soup but I do not love the half cooked split peas all other suppliers put in their soup. It doesn't matter if its packaged or canned, they all do it . . . except Anderson's. Its a small price to pay to have to order it on line. Its a truly creamy, satisfying soup. Give me a bowl of this soup and a piece of sour dough bread and I am a happy camper.

  10. The Best Soup 5 Star Review

Posted by on 26th Dec 2016

Anderson's Pea Soup w/bacon is my favorite soup. I used to be able to buy it here in Gig Harbor, WA. but I no longer can find it here. I think the grocery stores stopped carrying and I'm so disappointed. I'm so glad I can purchase it directly from Pea-Soup-Anderson but the shipping is about the same price as the soup. I have to pay if I want it and I want it. This is just the Best Soup. I don't know why grocery stores aren't carrying it anymore. Maybe someone needs to send out a representative to our grocery stores up here to get them to carry it. The main store we shop at is Safeway/Albertsons and Fred Meyer.
